Contemporary Haven

Although much of our architectural work is traditional in style, we can “converse” well in any architectural language. Composed of strong and repetitive building forms of brick, stucco and glass, we undertook a whole home renovation and major addition to this home designed by mid-century modern architect I.W. Colburn.  While working closely with the our clients, we developed a plan to make this home into a true family haven, and we did so by bringing more natural light into the building interiors and creating desirable connections to the outdoors, all while staying true to the original architecture.
