McHenry Bank & Trust

When this small, farming town began to reinvent itself as a bustling commuter suburb, our client saw an opportunity to develop a new branch bank.  We wanted this new building design to create a familiar haven amidst a flurry of new retail expansion.  Therefore, we designed the site layout, and oriented the building to maximize its visibility and stature along the heavily trafficked highway.

Taking cues from historic buildings in the area, and by selecting materials such as Old McHenry brick, the new bank attracts customers who have lived in the area for generations.  New families who have relocated to McHenry also like the building because it conveys a strong banking image of stability and permanence.
